Make animated, interactive web pages by drawing them

Bellows is an authoring tool for animated, interactive web pages and games. You draw, you animate, you make things respond, and you publish an ordinary web page.

Press the bellows, hold it, or press P to breathe on the drawing.

Ink painted in pieces, then animated and made interactive in Bellows. The horse is drawn after Eadweard Muybridge's photographs of 1878.

Try Bellows

Start with the idea you came for

Draw and animate

Shape tweens, motion paths, masks, symbols, filters and blend modes, playing on the page.

Make it respond

Pump the bellows and watch the fire answer. Behaviors and buttons need no code.

Bring your Flash work

Open SWF and FLA files and whole old sites. ActionScript is translated.

Publish anywhere

A static site, GIF, video, Lottie, and game engines such as Godot, Unity and Unreal.

Work with AI

An agent edits documents through the same commands you use, inside one folder.

Safe by design

Output runs in the browser's sandbox, and nothing you import is run.

Bellows is inspired by Flash and made for the web as it is now

It keeps what people loved about Flash: a stage, a timeline, symbols, tweens and buttons that work the moment you draw them. It publishes HTML, SVG, CSS and a small script, so what you make runs anywhere a web page runs.
